The Drought Contingency Plan, What Happens Now?
Arizona recently adopted the Drought Contingency Plan (DCP) as part of ta broader regional effort to manage the risk of water shortages on the Colorado River. Adoption of the DCP, however, is just the first step. As the DCP and related agreements are implemented the impacts will be more broadly felt across Arizona. This presentation will discuss DCP implementation and potential impact to the Arizona economy and provide background on water use in Arizona and its neighbors.
